I fell in love with this frame and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I just loved the colour.

I picked up some old woollen blankets some time ago, and they cut up to make great padding on little projects where it is still visible on the end piece. I’ve covered it with cotton lace which is delicate-looking but still robust enough to hang jewellery; I like this one with necklaces and brooches – the pink one I picked up second-hand recently and the green/gold/pearl brooch is one my lovely Gran used to wear.
